Cookies are text files containing small amounts of information which are downloaded to your computer, mobile phone or other device (all referred to here as “device”) when you visit a website or open a marketing email (references to “websites” in this policy also include emails). They are then sent back to the originating website on each subsequent visit, or to another website that recognises that cookie.
We use cookies principally because we want to make our websites user-friendly, and because we are interested in understanding visitor navigation behaviour. Cookies are useful because they allow a website to recognise a user’s device and to store or retrieve browsing information. They do lots of different jobs, such as:
Our cookies only capture anonymous data and don’t store sensitive or personally identifiable information (such as your name and address or credit card details).
There are different types of cookies. Some cookies come directly from our websites and others come from third parties which place cookies on our site. Below is an explanation of the three types of cookies we use, and what we use them for. Please note that by using Sejuiced’s websites you agree that we may place these types of cookies on your device.
(1) STRICTLY NECESSARY COOKIES
These cookies enable services.
These cookies are essential in order to enable you to move around our websites and use their features. They are necessary for the sites to function and cannot be switched off in our systems. As these cookies are strictly necessary, no consent to use them is required. These cookies do not store any personally identifiable information.
To opt out of these cookies, you will need to change the settings on your browser by selecting your cookie preferences. If you choose to block these cookies, some parts of our websites may not work as they should.
(2) PERFORMANCE COOKIES
These cookies collect anonymous information about how visitors use our websites.
These cookies allow us to count visits and traffic sources, so we can troubleshoot any problems and monitor the performance of our sites. They collect information about how visitors move around our websites, for instance which pages visitors go to most and least often, and if they get error messages from web pages. They may also show us which email or web page visitors clicked through from in order to visit our websites, and whether you opened an email we sent you.
Some of these are analytics cookies, set using third party web analytics software to help enhance the performance of our websites, and to allow us to monitor traffic to them (for example, we use Google Analytics to help us do this).
These cookies don’t collect information that identifies a visitor. All information these cookies collect is aggregated and therefore anonymous.
If you disable these cookies the site should function correctly, we simply won’t know that you visited the site.
(3) ADVERTISING COOKIES
These cookies collect information about your browsing habits in order to make advertising relevant to you.
These cookies remember that you have visited our websites. They may be set through our sites by our advertising partners who may use them to build a profile of your interests and show you relevant adverts on other sites. We use this information to tailor advertising for our products and services when you visit third party websites. They are also used to limit the number of times you see an advertisement as well as to help measure the effectiveness of an advertising campaign.
These cookies contain a unique key that is able to distinguish individual users’ browsing habits, or store code that can be translated into a set of browsing habits or preferences using information stored elsewhere. They do not store directly personal information but are based on uniquely identifying your browser and internet device.
By disabling these cookies, it is possible that any advertising you receive will be less targeted to your preferences as a result, but the site should still function correctly.
All modern browsers have tools to help you delete or block cookies. They will allow you to:
If you wish to disable the Strictly Necessary Cookies, you can choose whether you want to accept cookies or not within your browser. Different browsers make different controls available to you. Generally, your browser will offer you the choice to accept, refuse or delete all cookies, third-party cookies or specific website cookies. Each browser’s website should contain instructions on how you can do this.
For mobile and app users, managing your cookie preferences may work slightly differently. This is usually done through your phone settings; managing cookies across your whole device. To exercise the mobile device privacy settings controls, please visit the privacy settings of your Android or iOS device and select opt-out of interest based ads (Android) or limit ad tracking (Apple iOS).
If you are primarily concerned about third party cookies generated by advertisers, you can turn these off separately (see “Managing Advertising Cookies” below).
Our online advertising served via advertising cookies includes the AdChoices icon. Clicking on that icon will give more information about tracking cookies and allow you to opt out of receiving further targeted advertising.
If you wish to opt out of these third party advertising cookies, you can do this by visiting the Interactive Advertising Bureau’s website (please visit www.youronlinechoices.com/uk) which lists all ad serving cookies that are currently set on your device and tells you how to opt-out from each of them (N.B. this website lists many more networks than those used by Sejuiced).
Please note that if you choose to opt out of targeted advertising from a specific company or via www.youronlinechoices.com, it only applies to the web browser on the device you are using. You will therefore need to follow the same process on every device you use or different web browser that you use to exercise the same choice.
